Revving the motor

I still don't think we have really figured it out. I could give you spark and maybe cam, but not injectors. My 1978 911 race car that has dual carbs revs just as quickly as my fuel injected '86 911. The both have identical ignition but different cams.

But with that, if I get the same spark system and similar cam as the 911 motor the volvo motor should rev the same? I suppose that raises the question does a F grind rev any differently than a VX on the b230 motor?

With that I could do more investigation. I have a rebuilt a head with a 5 angle valve job, port and polish and the VX cam, yet the motor has been sitting since being rebuilt...

Wo Ho! Sounds like a project for this weekend!

Andrew
