Air Control Valve 200

Howdy Ladies & Gents-
I have a bad ACU...my Indie specialist confirmed. He hates them...has had me running ok with it unplugged and tapped down when it gets too high after warming up...but then it returns after a short while after tapping it down. Still able to get around and all, just tired of stopping to tap it down. I've read a large majority of archive posts...but, my question is that I'm wondering if it's fruitless to find a new Bosch ACV anyplace besides FCP or other parts companies? Money is tight, but a couple hundred is do-able to relieve the irritating issue. Plus, I don't think it's healthy for the trans to be idling so high (1100-1300 when warm)...and with the brake applied at a stop light it's about 900-1000 and I can feel the tranny torquing. I can kick the idle down before shifting out of/in to reverse and drive...but just want this to be rectified. This is my daily driver. Seems like these are high in demand...doubt I'll see a new one any cheaper than FCP, unless someone has one for sale for the LH-2.0.

Thanks, as always.
