Brake pads 140-160 1973

Hi,
Has anybody got any experience with about Porterfield brake pads? A pal of mine has them on his 105 Alfa and swears by them. But they are not cheap...

My 142 gets used for TSD type events (road speeds, until we get off course, then a bit harder driving!). It's got ATE 164 calipers with vented disks up front and Girling rears (at least I assume they are Girling - they have a G on them with the upright of the G having a clenched fist at the top).

Any input on Porterfields or any other pads most welcome!

JohnH
