Intake manifold gasket replacement - Any tips? 200 1990

After months of rough idling and not locating the problem, I finally found it - intake manifold gasket. The engine sucked her in and she now hisses like a jet!!

Couple of questions:

Besides the gasket, what else should I do while I'm in there?

Also, any recommended shortcuts?

BTW - I am in no rush to do this job as the car is temporarily off the road and needs a few other repairs. Will wait for a nice spring day for this job :)
