Strange connector 200

I have found a connector on the 79 242, B21F. It is located on top of the engine attached to the valve cover bolt, second from rear, intake side. Not the Aux Air. This has several connection slots and almost made me think of the diagnostic unit on my 89. It has a wiring harness going behind the engine. The top of the connector is open. It looks like something should be plugged into it. Seemed like it only had a couple of wires but not real sure. Looked like a headlight connector but bigger..Any ideas??
