Question: how do I replace the plastic windshield clip? 200 1993

I've got a '93 240 with the plastic clip (to hold parking garage slips, etc.) on the inside of the windshield. A few months ago, a state inspection guy pulled it all the way back to slap on a new sticker, and the bent plastic clip finally fatigued enough to break off. I can't prove it was their fault (too much time has passed), so I'm on my own to pay to get it fixed.

Anyway, I need to know how to replace this clip. Can anyone describe the procedure. Any .pdf's of an instruction sheet? I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks all.
