Headlights, relay or what? 700 1991

Hi folks, have a 1991 740, pretty sweet car. Had a problem with starting, replaced the Fuel relay and good to go, EXCEPT....

The headlights would not go out. I fiddled around looking for fuses/relays and finally pulled the "K" relay, lights went out. Relay is a Bosch (metal cap)looks like a 332 015 006 part, with 12V 2 15A above it. On the side it says "965" and on the other side it has a relay diagram. Went down to my local import/export parts guy (in this case gal) and ordered the part. Got a part number 0 332 209 151 with 12V 20/30A above it, so I'm guessing it is a20-30 Amp replacement. On the sides are 12033862 and another side has 2911 P3 and another side has 085 and the final side has the relay diagram, which looks a bit different. What happens when THIS relay is in, is the headlights won't come ON, and the side running lights stay on.

What's up with that? Have I got a "bad" K relay and replaced with the wrong relay? Is there another relay that could be the problem? I did check the old relay and all seems well. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I love this car! I also have a '99 S80 that is sweet when something isn't wrong, but something is always wrong. Paid for, so it is saying for a while.

Thanks!
