Ignition switch and what else? 200

Battery charged (706 CCA's)
Followed wires to the starter/solenoid. Thought the weather froze up Solenoid.
Tapped on BOTH bodies (learned this from a 350TBI)
Ran Ohms thru the battery to Yellow Blue wire on Solenoid as the switch was toggled. No continuity. (maybe bad spade?)
Inspected Coil. Fine with ohms.
Inspected fuses. None broken or misplaced.
Inspected wires closer. Found some wire cracking on the thicker guaged, but nothing on the smaller ones.
I did notice in various places that the conduit is deteriating grossly, yet the wires exposed appear to be rather clean.
I have been tinkering with the original switch, My multimeter, and the Bentley Manual... still confused.

Upon driving I noticed my Speedo pulses like the needle was in water. I know my rear tranny seal is leaking, might be that.

I've yet to act out the push start method! lol

Tim

I'm hoping that it's not the ECM or the IGN - after seeing the slim pickin's in the yard - I'd be screwed.
