Exhaust system 700

I'm getting ready to replace the exhaust system on my '87 740 GLE wagon. I cut off the old system right after the converter and want to run a straight piece of pipe to the axle pipe, then to the rear muffler. I don't want to use a center muffler on the new system. Are the Starla components that FCP sells the ones that have the pipe that goes up and over the rear axle or do they go underneath of it?

Also, I can't drive the car to an exhaust shop since I don't have it licensed and insured. What would be the best way to bend the pipe going from the converter to the rear muffler? I'm going to clamp the pipes together instead of having them welded.

Thanks in advance.

Dave
