Electrical problem S90-V90

My 1997 965 headlight switch has three positions. 9:00 = off; 10:30 = parking lights; 12:00 = haeadlight and parking lights.

It also has a Day Running Lights (DRL) switch for use in the Canadian market. It is in the lower right corner of the headlight switch. Looks like the head of a slotted flathead screw.

Three positions, move with a small screwdriver using very gentle push in and twist.

Vertical = position "A" for Automatic DRL.

Right side = position "B" for Automatic DRL to also function the headlight switch in in "Park" position.

Left Side = DRL disabled.

With the DRL switch in "C" see how the headlights behave.

I am not in the Canadian market, and do not understand what the real difference is between "A" and "B".

Power to the LR stop is likely a separate problem.

Good Luck,

Bob
