544 Igntion Problem 444-544

I thought I had an aftermarket (universal) switch because of the addition of the starter button. On further investigation I can feel the armored cable and while I'm glad I have an original switch, now I'm wondering why the starter button was added.
I called around locally and everybody wants $200.00 to come out and make a key. Obviuosly it would be cheaper to bring it in someplace. I was just out in the car trying to figure out how to get the switch assy out. I've got it narrowed down to two possible ways, both involve the use of explosives. Can anybody tell me how to get that thing out???
