Sounds spiffy. Considering the weight of the booster and MC and the size of the mounting plate/foot. I'd suspect that a support of some kind up by the MC might be a good idea.

So.. it's cool that you are modifying an existing one to fit, but in my experience those stand-offs are rather rare - especially here in the midwest...

One question: Is the bolt pattern the same for a 140 and an 1800 (ATE) style booster? That is, could I bolt my 1800E booster to a standoff like you are making?

By the way, my new 25' of 3/16" hardline arrived today. I should be able to re-plumb my brakes later this week and see if the system will hold even without a booster.
