As soon as I get home I'll do the safety pin thing and I'll start a new thread specifically on the connector location. I'll forget about the voltage for now as possibly a red herring. I meant to mention this earlier but the small wire at the alt is not red, you know, it's actually a blue or green with black strip. Does that change the fact that I am looking for the only red wire coming out of the round plug on the instrument cluster? Does it change color at the now infamous grey connector? Maybe there were some color changes between early and late 240? I'll post back later in a new thread.
