Instruments dead for 5 minutes each morning 700 1987

I thought this might be a familiar problem to someone. '87 740 turbowagon. The last two mornings when I start the car, the overdrive arrow light is on and the instruments are dead. A minute later, the alternator warning light comes on. Weird things happen like if I push the OD button on the shifter, the tach starts working but no other instruments. About five minutes down the road, all the instruments come back to life and the car behaves fine for the rest of the day.

I'm thinking this is relay related and a little resoldering might be all I need, Just wondering if anybody knew which relay might cause these symptoms.
