Hi
Having trouble with the automatic (166K) not going into OD (4th gear)

The car has been just purchased several months ago and the OD was working normaly.

I have repacled the relay, have checked the coil and it operates and makes noise.

I have replaced the coil/solenoid with the IPD bipass plate. So there is no coil, wiring, sw to deal with yet it will not go into od

I did notice that it acted a little funny as some time you had to tap the accelerator to make it shift into OD.

If I have to get a rebuilt unit does anyone know who has/does a good rebuild with volvo 240 automatices.

Does anyone know if a 89 will fit the 92 or 93 240's.
