Fuel pump Question 900 1993

1993 945 NA.I am trying to trouble shoot a hot start problem by the FAQ. My car will start after several seconds but then idles smooth. The fuel Injection relay does click. I can hear both pumps run. When I pull the in-tank pump fuse, the car immediately dies. The FAQ says it will continue to run but rough & the main pump will become louder. Could this be my problem? Plugs, wires, cap & rotor are all new. One attempt it won't start, next attempt it may start normally. I am not sure where the radio suppresion relay is, it is not beside the cooling fan relay. Also, I have cleaned the throttle body.(had problem before that too) thanks for any help.
