Squealing brakes after new rotor and caliper install, need help! 200 1990

My son and I replaced the front left side rotor, brake pads and caliper in our 1990 240 DL wagon. All parts are direct from Volvo, (rotor, pads and caliper).

there was considerable squealing and screeching brake noise. We used anti squeal brake grease the same way we did on the rear brakes a month ago. The rears made the same noise but it went away after a test drive or two.
I plan on removing the pads and adding more grease.

anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks and looking forward to your replies,

Don
