17' wheels on 1800ES 1800

I agree completely,the 165-15 is the born on a dirt road/
bred on an old school european rally.
Triumphs,VW everybody used them in the day.
Pizza cutters I call them,cause they cut the 'cake',
and will operate in 4-5" of mud.
Also I can hit 2" of standing water at 60 mph and not
hydroplane in my cars.
However it is wise to take a smidgen off the diameter
when fitting a larger/heavier wheel & tire combo
to maintain performance.
195-65-15 is good all around &
205-60-15 is good for street.
