Hello,
I have a 1990 240 sedan with a m47. My problem is when i accelerate from a light, there is this vibration. its like i can feel all the motor vibrations through the seat and pedals. It drives me crazy, it feels like a shitty old 80's truck. Not like a upstanding conservative european luxury car. Also, at speeds of 50-70 there is this very unstable feeling. there is a shimmy in the front and a vibration through the chassis. lastly, when i hit sudden bumps, like small dips or railroad tracks, there is this nasty jarring from the front of the car, and it steers where ever it wants. both motor mounts and trans mount(though oil soaked) are new. front ball joints, bushings(all), end links, struts, are new. the front wheel bearings seem to have a ~little~ play in them, and the inner tie rods are shot. those are getting done this week. the rear TABS are done in poly, the rear torque arm bushings are done in rubber, and the center support is replaced.
