Wire unknown 200

Ok 3:30 a.m. and I only have questions about a car.. I need serious help..Anyway, today while installing a homemade intake bellows on my 79 242 GT, B21F, M46, I came across a pair of wires. They are green and brown. They are inside a single black sleeve. They have a connector on the end. It is the same type connector as goes to an injector on a 2.4 or so injection system. There is even a boot covering it that is exactly the same as the boot over an electronic injector. Keep in mind this is a manual injection system. This wire is running from the main harness at the firewall to it's termination just short of the A/C unit. Now the A/C is not connected but the connector coming from it is a single spade terminal. I have no idea where the rest of the A/C wiring has gone. The PO just nylon tied it to the A/C hose near the back of the compressor. Any ideas?? Thanks.. Max
