Ball Joint Replacement 200 1990

The right ball joint on my 240 has excessive play. I was going to order replacements. Ive gone through the Bentley instructions. Its seems very straight forward. Is this a reasonable at home job? Can I jack up the car one side at a time?

Jack one side of car
Remove fasteners
Separate strut mount on the bench
reinstall.

It seems like the hardest part will be removeing the fasteners.
