I would start looking for loose front end components.

If you had the rotors and brakes done a while ago then the first thing I would do is inpsect them to make sure everything is good to go with them.

Sounds more like you have a loose tie rod or control arm or a combination of worn out front end control arm bushings.

Don't jump straight on the brakes as being the cause without a thorough verification of all brake hardware. It really does sound like you have worn front end components..
