Man this has been the greatest help! I dont know how to thank everyone. I am pretty sure you have restored my hope in humanity. Now if I could just restore my Volvo. I have restored hope just one more problem that I could use advice about. I have a 1997 Volvo S90 and My check engine light is on. The car will sputter and die when in idle for an extended period of time. I believe the light and this problem are related. It just seems like there isnt enough petrol getting to the engine. My car has 109,000 miles on it and the spark plugs need replacing. Also the oil which I am on top of I have the oil (Slick 50??? is this wise?) where could I go to get the spark plugs? Volvo dealerships are scarse in my area (West Tennessee) Spark plugs may be the problem. I dont know it could be many things because it is a computer telling me my problem. 240's could be fixed with a socket set and Duct tape I am not use to the S90. Thank you
