Intake 140-160

Owners manual on for my 1968 144S has hand written note in back that the engine and transmission was overhauled about 10K ago. It has about 146K on it now. Need to check the engine number. I figured it was a B18B. It has the dual SU carbs. I just looked at it last evening and it sure looked like the intake was separate for the exhaust. The exhaust is two hole cast. The intake sure looks aluminum. The block has the ear for the alternator. Swapping in alternator now. So, from what you say this might not be the original block or at least the intake and exhaust has been changed?
