I spotted a large van with no lights, weaving.
Figured I'd call it in to the highway patrol.
Had to cancel the call as traffic got busy.
Next thing I knew, WHAM!, the thing smacked Sven from behind.
I think I was doing about 25-35 mph, he was maybe 10-20 faster than I.
Long story short: Sven has a scratch on top of rear bumper.
Can you believe it? Any modern car would have $1000+ damage due to pretty painted plastic being ruined. And that's if you're lucky enough to avoid sheet metal damage.
GM Savannah van (BIG thing!) has front bumper bent, front sheet metal bent, towed away probably due to driver under the influence.
I can't believe it. A scratch on the rubber bumper cover. Doesn't even look like the bumper was pushed in any- but I haven't had a chance to get out a ruler yet and compare to another one.
Sven earned his keep that day, and then some.
