Cap and Rotor installation 200

Just purcahsed a cap and rotor for my '90 245 with 215k miles. As I'm standing there looking at the parts my father says "do you have a timing light?" "Oh no" I think.

The way it looks to me is, you just pull the cap and rotor and replace with the new ones. Making sure the plug wires go to the right spot. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Am I missing something?
