New CD player with Volvo amplifier? 900 1991

Hi,
I am going to replace the original Volvo radio w/ a CD/MP3/radio player in my 91 940 SE turbo wagon. The problem is that all players I have seen will only power 4 speakers. If you try to power 6 Ohms law takes over & the sound is radically lessened.

Has anyone installed a player & kept the original Volvo amp.?

As I understand it, the Volvo radio powers 1 set & the amp powers the remaining 4 speakers.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

I don't want a CD changer just a CD/MP3/radio player
