Kickdown cable

Well after about 6 hrs trying to ge the filler tube off(2 bolts by starter one that hits the frame of the car)I decided that my chilton manual sort of sucked, aside from the exhaust being in the way I did not see what I thought I would and it looked like another part on the lower transmission needed to be removed, so I thought it might be out of my range and brought it in to a local. After all said and done $389 to replace it. Kills me knowing I had drained it and had the pan bolts out and screwed with the tube mounting bolts all in about 2 hours. I figure with a lift and some tools it should have run closer to an earlier post of the mid 200's. I just hate paying.
