Electronic ignition 120-130 1968

Well... you never have to set the points again. My 145 had points and my 122 came with a crane/allison ignition. I found it to be a pain to set the point and had no idea what I was doing back then (I was 19). The Crane/Allison unit is trouble-free and always works. The only issue you'll have is that you have to cut the armored coil cable... That, and it no longer looks "stock"

You can find decent units on eBay for a better price but without IPD's quality customer service. If you have access to a 1975 240 volvo, that year had the electronic ignition so getting and installing one of those would be almost "stock"

So... I think it was worth it, but I didn't have to pay for it.
