POR-15 is a polyurethane coating that cures/hardens
in the presence of moisture in the air.
I have had it 'go off' to tack in 40 min on a rainy day,
and 2 hrs 45 min on a hot dry day.
If not exposed to UV [sunlight] it will stay nice,shiny black.
Actually I kind of liked the POR Non Glare flat black finish
on the 86-245 'Blacknose'.
