On the ones I've had there is a large bolt for the battery connection, and a quick connect tab (also known as a spade connector) for the instrument cluster lamp. I am not familiar with the term "single wire alternator", but assume that it is one with the bridge rectifier built into the alternator instead of having a bunch of wires coming out to an external rectifier (which I have never seen in my life).
