I have two questions ...
1; the overdrive in my 1990 740gl 148000 miles sedan has stopped wotking..once in awhile in the winter it would be a delay ( I am in northeast wisconsin) the little upshift light on the dash stays on . I can hear the relay behind the radio click when I push the button on the shift lever but the light stays on ( it would also come on sometimes when I would be driving but faintly but go out after awhile ) .. Once in awhile the car will shift ( into overdrive on its own ) but now it will not at all ..Is this a trans rebiuild or is there something else I can try first. 2; I have a cruise control problem also.. sometimes it works and sometime it will not.. I have no idea where to look .. since it is intermitant I can sometimes been driving along ( highway ) and all of a sudden it will start to work .. help me please ...thanks for any info .. Emmitt
