Gear Shift Shakes when Braking 900 1995

Our 95 940 Turbo Wagon has about 130K miles. When braking we get vibration in the steering wheel so I ordered new front pads and rotors. The cone arm bushings were replaced with polyurethane last year. Sometimes, and I think it depends on speed and amount of pressure on the brakes, you can also see and feel the gear shift handle shaking. Is this related to the rotors, or is it time for new engine and/or transmission mounts (all of which are original on the car).
