How old were you? 200

Bicycles where the first. Getting the brake off to change a flat was the difficult part if I remember right. My brother two years older than me was always alot more mechanically inclined. I bought a VW bus in 98 hoping to work on it myself. I ended up paying a 1000 bucks the first 6 months in mechanic fees which included rebuilding a cylinder. It wasn't until the brickboard a little over a year ago that I really got the guts to jump into my own work. The parents have had numerous 240's over the years, it was the first car I ever drove on the country roads near my grandparents home while visiting them and the first car I snuck out on the neighborhood streets at 13 while the parents where out of town.
