follow up on AC problem S90-V90

My mechanic is somewhat stumped as to what is wrong with the ac. He claims it is hard to check the highs and low presure of the ac. Also he is trying to reduce the oil. At this point he did not mention of any leaks. Any more ideas w/ this problem will be greatly appreciated.
