I was thinking the spark has more like an orange color than yellow -
In any event, I will do this - regardless of whether it is the problem or not. This maintenance on the coil contacts is a sound measure.
What gets new is that it doesn't happen all the time - or at least it didn't up until yesterday when I finally got the car running again.
After I do this, what should I look for as far a metric to note the improvement ?
Color of the spark at the plug ?
Maybe just look for corroded or ditry terminals at the coil pack whe i open it up ?
I just don't get the entire intermittency thing, that is the most difficult component of this problem.
I'll post back when I finish up. shouldn't take too long.
