Broken control arm 200

I'll make it short. Replacing control arm bushings with poly today. Spent several hours doing so. Almost finished and went to torque the pocket bushing bracket to 50ft/lbs as IPD's instructional video says. Broke the stud.

So I'm guessing that means my control arm is trash, I need a new one. FCP has Scantech control arms. Are they garbage like the rest of their stuff is reputed to be?
