How old were you? 200

I can't tell you how old I was, but my father was a great mechanic who repaired Packards.

When he visited friends at other garages, he took me along - I spent much of the time with a box of nuts and bolts, paring them so that they could be re-used.

I usually could pick out a nut to fit a particular bolt without trial and error in most cases.
