are these wheels a good fit for my car?

They'll be a great fit and an appropriate size for your car. Shouldn't be clearance issues with anything; the stock size for that car was like 165R15 or maybe 175/75-15.

1970's take the same 5 on 108mm pattern that fits all the later cars, so the wheels will bolt right on.

I'm sure those more attuned to the issues with the older cars can confirm what fitment will be like for this car.

With any of these cars, you want to be sure the suspension and shocks are all in excellent shape before you start doing upgrades. They will feel tippy compared to a modern car if anything is loose.
