AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Ok now that thats out of the way 82 245 GL 157,000 miles. In tank pump has apparently taken a dump on me, it was working fine I changed the filter sock and the connecting hose and reinstalled it in reverse. Now the pump that was working just fine is now dead and the number 5 fuse holder is also dead. (It was running fine and nothing was messed with fuse wise) Everything else on the fuse panel lights up like a christmas tree except that #5. I also supplied direct power to the pump and it doesn't buzz or do anything at all the main pump still works fine. We put a multi meter and test light on everthing possible and its only that fuse thats not getting power, the harness is still in really good shape. This just makes me crazy, has anyone else had this happen, and how did you fix it? My thought is running a relay to another key-hot fuse and bypassing that number five fuse altogether, and then changing the pump of course(junkyard hopping). If anyone has an idea feel free to throw it out there.
Ps, also tried a new fule pump relay that I got from FCP Groton and no change.
