Fender Guard things: What are they called? 140-160

Hi,

On a Classic Motorsport magazine's 142S restoration blog they find these great fender guards. They call them "rear fender guards" but I can't find any reference to them on the internet. They are narrow and triangular and go on the rear fender, down low on the front side.

Here's the link to the blog page I saw them on. If you search for "fender guard" on the text on that page you'll see them:

I've started noticing them on P1800's now, but black instead of chrome, so I'm assuming the ones in the blog are from a P1800.

Does anyone know what those are called? If I knew that I could probably know what to google for at least. A great bonus would be if you knew where to get them.

Thanks,
SS
