Stranded with a broken alternator belt? Not really. 700

I have only had my 90 745 (B230F) for just over a month, but I think I may have something to contribute in the form of a neat trick that might help somebody.
I was shopping on FCP Groton for new fan belts, when I noticed that the part number for the power steering belt is identical to the one used for the alternator.
That means if your ever in the middle of nowhere, and your alt belt breaks, you can SWAP your intact P.S. belt over to run the alternator! Sure you won't have Power assist, but you can go any distance now. Check thier site to see if yours is the same.
