Studebaker Lark Rear Shocks for PV544? 444-544

Somewhere I picked up that Studebaker Lark rear shocks will fit a PV. Can anyone confirm this? Would, for example, the Monroe Maxair 3692296, which fits the Lark, do the job? I have KYBs on mine, but find them too harsh and would like to ditch them. Bilsteins would be nice, but I just went Bilsteins on all corners of my 245 and that made a big dent in this year's parts budget, so I'm looking for something a bit more economical for the PV at the moment. I"d welcome suggestions.
