A twist on 'water in the footwell'

Well, as they say, I never thought it would happen to me...
My 90 745 was stolen this past Saturday. Thankfully, The thief abandoned it in a nearby parking lot and the police recovered it in "good condition".
I was so happy it wasn't in peices...or Mexico that I went straight to the impound lot to pick it up without considering the severe thunderstorm/tornado that was being predicted later that day. By the time I arrive to pick up my wagon, The rain is blowing sideways. When I get in, she smells like a dirty ashtray-that somebody puked in, and the spare tire and jack are gone along with my wallet and tools, but she runs, and I don't have to replace her, so I'm thankful.
Next day I'm cleaning every inch of the car trying to get the smell of joy ride out, and the passenger carpet goes SQUISH! So out comes the seat, trim carpet, pad, acoustic wookie-fur stuff, and I guess about a QUART of water.
It's all nearly dry now and I've been reading all the "water in the footwell" posts. This car is almost pristine. The only thing the color of rust is the exhaust manifolds. cowl vents drain nicely. rockers are like new inside. Plastic shield is in place over blower intake. Passes the half-gallon of water poured into cowl test.
No a/c drain hose in the engine compartment, but there is a hose like that, way up in the passenger footwell on the firewall up behind the blower assy.
That hose is LONG. It passes down under the ECU and runs under the plastic footwell trim past the seat towards the rear and then I can't see where it goes.
Anyway does somebody know where that line emerges so I can snake it? I'm afraid I might break the plastic fitting up in the footwell.
Maybe the thief spilled a supersize water in the floor...The car has been through rain storms in the two months I've had it. I've used the a/c for half an hour at a time before. I just want to do what I should before I put her back together. Sorry for the long post...I AM from Texas.
