Trying To Get My Trunk Straight 200

Hello,

I am looking for some help on getting my trunk to line up evenly side to side. The trunk top has adjustments for front to back and the hinge brackets have up and down adjustment but no centering settings. The top is very close on the drivers side but wide on the passenger side. This problem is the cause of water leaks for many years on the passenger side since the trunk seal is not mateing with the trunk top on that side. I have replaced the trunk seal and have new lights and gaskets on the tail lights and they are dry, but trunk is wet above the lights when it rains. When I bought the car years ago it had a dent in the trunk top as if someone had slamed it down on something that did not give. The car is a 82 242DL. Thanks.

Mario
