I need to rev it before it will 'pop' into reverse 900 1993

Hello, Your getting there. Your valve body seems to have a jam in the reverse valve. Keep on reving with the treatment in there and give it another week. Valve bodys aren't that hard to change, so give it some more time. To make sure your in reverse, remove shift rod and engage reverse from transmission. Work the shifter until your in reverse and the back-up lights are on. Now check to see if the rod fits between the two bushings, if its a little short lengthen, if long, shorten. Pauli
