3000 rpm at 70mph? 900 1994

I'm curious about the trans in my '94 945t. I haven't checked the ID plate but looking at the FAQ the AW71L is the trans supplied on these cars in the US. Four speed auto but is there an OD or is fourth the OD? Tomorrow I'll be going over the car taking care of some of the minor stuff like oil change, check rotors & pads etc. I'll also notice what the trans is doing at what rpm.

Anyway, the trans isn't slippling but 3000 at 70mph seemed a little high.

Erwin in Memphis.
