i am a new owner of a 740 {my first} with 212,000 miles. non-turbo 4 cylinder. the car muct have low gears. 1st & 2nd wind a long way. when car shifts to 3rd, it only stays in 3rd for a fraction of a second. car seems to be doing fine, but i've never had a auto trans go into od that quick. also, with overdrive disabled,car really winds up tight around 70. possible 410,s? i bought this car for 1,500.00 and so far, 4 thousand miles, no major probs, zero oil usage. i'm in love!thanks, steve
