240-90 ac compressor leaking oil. How long do I have before it gets ugly. I can see...

Well it sounds like you are going to change the compressor anyway, so it doesn't matter if it blows up EXCEPT all of that debris will then be a permanent addition to your ac system.

I'd shut it down and use the 4/80 AC for now.

Open four windows and drive 80 : )

BTW where is the oil coming from? There is a relief valve that will blow oil IF your system was over-charged... Are you sure it's broke?
