544 6-blade fan 444-544

I happened to be browsing the net the other day (looking at 544s) and noticed that the sock fan seems to be a four-blade for the 1965 B-18.
There is an odd looking bracket mounted on the passenger side of the front of the cylinder head. I'm guessing that the bracket may have once held a compressor for an air conditioner and that's why the fan blade is beefier. My questions is: Will running a six blade fan cause any problems if the air conditioning unit is gone?
